On Saturday, November 2nd, Women & Justice Project and Survivors Justice Project are excited to host Surviving Injustice: An evening to mark five years of the Domestic Violence Survivors Justice Act (DVSJA) & uplift the leadership of currently and formerly incarcerated survivors.
The evening will feature a premiere screening of our documentary on New York’s DVSJA. Created in partnership with Kashif, the film spotlights survivors freed under the DVSJA, survivors denied resentencing, campaign leaders, judges, legislators, and others working to implement the law.
Please join us at 6:30PM on November 2nd at SVA Theatre (333 West 23rd Street, New York, NY) to honor survivors and learn more about the critical work happening to expand the DVSJA’s reach and impact.
Advance tickets are required. Visit our event page to learn more and purchase your event tickets on this link.
We hope to see you there!
